Jiafan Liu, M.D.

Dr. Liu joined YPMG in 2024. He obtained his medical degree from Second Military Medical University in Shanghai, China. He later earned his doctoral degree in Pathology with research focus on Carcinogenesis at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio and completed his Anatomic and Clinical pathology residency followed by Surgical Pathology fellowship at University of Missouri-Columbia in Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Liu has been practicing pathology for 16 years, he is very experienced in breast and GYN pathology. He has an extensive background in Cytopathology and is passionate about the early diagnosis of cancer. In his leisure time, Dr. Liu is well known for his Chinese calligraphy art and enjoys opera singing. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
